At Giangvo, we strive to provide high-quality digital marketing and web development services. Because our work involves custom labor, intellectual property creation, and third-party advertising costs, we have established the following Refund and Cancellation Policy to ensure transparency and fairness for both our agency and our clients.
 
1. General Principles
By engaging with Giangvo, you acknowledge that digital marketing is a service-based industry. Unlike physical products, the time, expertise, and resources dedicated to your project cannot be “returned.” Therefore, refunds are only issued under specific circumstances as outlined in this policy.
 
2. Service Cancellation
Clients have the right to cancel their engagement with Giangvo subject to the following conditions:
  • Monthly Management Services: For ongoing services such as SEO, Social Media Management, or PPC Management, clients must provide a written notice of cancellation at least 30 days prior to the next billing cycle.
  • Project-Based Services: For one-time projects like Web Development or Graphic Design, cancellation requests must be submitted before the project reaches the final approval stage.
  • Immediate Termination: Giangvo reserves the right to cancel any service immediately if a client violates our Terms and Conditions or fails to provide necessary information required to complete the work.
 
3. Refund Eligibility
Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis depending on the type of service provided:
  • Web Development & Design: Once a project has moved past the initial discovery and mockup phase, the initial deposit is non-refundable. If a project is cancelled mid-development, Giangvo will bill for the hours worked up to that point, and any remaining balance of the deposit may be refunded.
  • SEO & Digital Marketing: These are ongoing services. We do not offer refunds for months of service already completed. If you cancel mid-month, your services will continue until the end of the current billing cycle, and no further charges will occur.
  • Ad Spend: Please note that Giangvo has no control over funds paid directly to platforms like Google, Meta, or TikTok. Any requests for ad spend refunds must be directed to the respective platform according to their specific policies.
 
4. Non-Refundable Items and Services
Certain costs incurred by Giangvo on behalf of the client are strictly non-refundable:
  • Third-party software licenses or premium plugin purchases.
  • Domain name registrations and hosting fees.
  • Work that has already been approved by the client at various milestones.
  • Setup fees for new campaigns or account structures.
 
5. Refund Process
To request a refund or cancellation, clients must submit a formal request via email to our billing department. Once received:
  • We will review the project status and the hours logged.
  • A decision will be communicated within 7-10 business days.
  • Approved refunds will be processed via the original payment method. Please allow for standard banking processing times for the funds to appear in your account.
 
6. No Guarantees on Performance
While Giangvo uses industry-best practices to achieve the best possible results, we do not offer refunds based on “lack of performance” or “lack of sales.” Digital marketing is subject to external factors, including search engine algorithm changes and market volatility, which are beyond our control.
 
7. Administrative Fees
Giangvo reserves the right to charge a small administrative or processing fee for any refund requests to cover the transaction costs associated with the reversal of funds.
